Integrated Management System
The SGI - Sistema de Gestão Integrado (Integrated Management System) is the IMCOPA's quality department. It responds for the implementation and maintenance of the management systems that guarantee the company's internationally acknowledged certifications, from organizations such as BRTÜV and CERT-ID.
Among the activities coordinated by the SGI are the internal audit programs of the management systems as well as those of the suppliers of raw material, packaging and services.
The maintenance of management certificates requires constant updating of IMCOPA's employees. For this matter, the SGI coordinates a training program to fulfill the requirements of these systems.
Environment protection is also a constant concern at IMCOPA. All its employees are encouraged to engage in activities leading to the reduction of environmental impacts. The SGI is responsible for the final destination of the solid waste generated at IMCOPA in depositors accredited by environmental organizations.
SGI is also responsible for the products' traceability system and for th POLI - IMCOPA's Organization and Cleaning Program.
Another important role of the Quality department is to offer technical support to clients regarding all aspects of product information, like physical, chemical and microbiological specifications.
IMCOPA'S Integrated Management System Policy (SGI)

4 - Continually to improve our products, processes and effectiveness of the management system, which include the aspects of quality, safety & health and the environment.
